Welcome to the Harbour website.
Harbour is a KS2/KS3 alternative provision for pupils who are close to, or have been, permanently excluded from their mainstream school. We are a "Good" school (Ofsted September 2016), situated in a purpose built building in the north of Lowestoft
Harbour is a small and caring school. If your child attends here they will be treated with respect and helped to re-engage with their learning both academically and socially so that they can hopefully either return to mainstream education or successfully transfer to other suitable long term provision. We are proud of our achievements and want the best for all our pupils.
The school is run on a day to day basis by Mrs Nicky Howes (Head of School) with the overall responsibility provided by myself, Paul Morton, the Executive Headteacher of two other PRUs as well as Harbour. The Governance of the school is conducted by a single Management Committee that oversees the three PRUs that make up The North Lowestoft PRU Partnership.
